the little two

“Here” said the little girl, offering it to the little boy from inside her little palm… “Don’t just look… Listen to it as it beats… It will speak to you…”The little boy was too frightened to get it from the little girl’s little hand. He looked at it for a few seconds, then back into the little girl’s little eyes, without a word.”Don’t be scared” she went. “It’s killing me every second of my life. I don’t need it to be alive. I don’t want to “feel” alive. And, I don’t think I am alive, anyway…”

The time froze. The little girl standing, with her little arm 90 degrees up to the front from her little elbow, holding a little something in her little hand, and the little boy, standing still, with his little eyes stuck into the little girl’s little eyes…

The little two needed some kind of little miracle for that picture to move again, at that very moment.

Then, the big big world shrunk slowly, framing the little two, only.

The little girl spoke again:

“How are you feeling now?”

“Answer me, please…” she begged.

“This is my world, see? Hard to move, hard to live, hard to breathe…”

The little something trembled inside her little hand. She held the little boy’s little hand, opened it warmly, and passed the little something into his little hand and…

There was only the little boy in the frame now… with the little something in his little hand, bleeding warmly…

His little eyes were on the little something, as frozen as the time itself.

Deserted, lonely, emotion free…
